Movies at first cleaned and lubricated using ECCO 1500 anti-static cleaner and conditioner. This is a fast drying chemical cleaning system and is done prior to the conversion process, removing dust and other ground-in particles resulting in a cleaner tranfer. Unexposed, black or clear sections over four seconds duration are removed from 50 foot reels. The small reels are spliced together, in the order that you specify, onto 400 foot reels. The film is then transferred to DVD disc or videotape cassette using modern telecine and professional video equipment. "Aerial Image"- An aerial transfer is telecine transfer in which the image is projected on a glass surface 5" in front of the film projector. The Image is literally projected in "mid Air".The film is projected onto a small surface using a special telecine lamp and a modified projector. All popular video tape formats can be converted to DVD up to a maximum of 2 hours per disc.VHS, Betamax, VHS-C, Video-8, Hi-8, Digital 8 Mini DV, DVCAm and Betasp, Please not that many 10 to 20 year old tapes show the image deterioration common to older magnetically stored information. Transferring these tapes to DVD will not improve the quality of the images, however it will prevent further deterioration.
